Some writers need a title before they can continue the story. Others write and then title follows.
I’ve always had a title, but more in order to save the manuscript. However, I’ve rarely changed it.
There have been a couple where the title doesn’t belong. Those I keep making flow-notes…string words, word boxes…on changes and where the story is going.
Then there’s the manuscript I name and know it tells the reader nothing but I’m emotionally attached…invested.
A big mistake because as we know – everything is open to edits.
