found out some sad news last night, a family friend from my childhood has passed away
time allowed me to rediscover her friendship, during happy moments and sad moments
we can smile and even laugh while crying
we were small parts of each other lives, but her impact was larger than life
only the best thoughts now for her family
A frustrating day peppered with more catch-ups than any other day
Oh…happy 12th b-day pepper-cat

the eve of the Imbolc season, that point midway between winter solstice and spring equinox
my limited new knowledge…we’re at the start of renewal stirrings.
until “they” tell us it’s time to change the clocks and “spring ahead” the sky is brighter earlier and lasting longer, that change I can note.
it could simply be the bright sun/sky reflecting off the white snow, but the last few days are brighter.

It’s frigg’n cold. -24C as of 11:28am, but the sun is extremely bright and the sky clear, too, so that’s a welcome.
