Creativity – The Cat Helped Write This

I’ve been a bad blogger. I’ve neglected them all. Well, not really neglected, just pushed them down the list of things I need to get done. I forgot to keep the fun in my writing.

Today, a few ideas have surfaced and been pushy. However, I had no idea what to say about being creative. That was until my cat, our new family member tried walking on my desk. He’s now on my lap doing his growl-purr as I write right now.

His name is Cody, but he answers to Dumba** Furball. He has creative ways in which to get into trouble. Last night, as we’re trying to sleep, it was running around with his angry bird ball…yes with a blasted loud bell inside…and tossing it down the stairs and running after it.

Some moments he is as quiet as anything. You don’t even know he’s on the shelf looking down on you. Other times, he’s an entire herd of mini-mini elephants charging through the house on every floor all at the same time.

Oh, he’s only 10.6 pounds. 13 months old.

Guess I have a new writing partner?  The Purr Monster
