  • found out some sad news last night, a family friend from my childhood has passed away
  • time allowed me to rediscover her friendship, during happy moments and sad moments
  • we can smile and even laugh while crying
  • we were small parts of each other lives, but her impact was larger than life
  • only the best thoughts now for her family
  • A frustrating day peppered with more catch-ups than any other day

  • the eve of the Imbolc season, that point midway between winter solstice and spring equinox
  • my limited new knowledge…we’re at the start of renewal stirrings.
  • until “they” tell us it’s time to change the clocks and “spring ahead” the sky is brighter earlier and lasting longer, that change I can note.
  • it could simply be the bright sun/sky reflecting off the white snow, but the last few days are brighter.

  • It’s frigg’n cold. -24C as of 11:28am, but the sun is extremely bright and the sky clear, too, so that’s a welcome.
