I cannot give my words a voice
I am shamed by my thoughts
Thoughts I do not believe others will understand
I remain silent
Longing to know if others feel as I
Too shy to shout – here I am
My words have no voice
Will you be my voice
Will you give my words life
I need a voice, my words are my voice
