Ever wonder what’s going on behind the windows you pass by or the strangers on the streets? The loud phone conversations of a passerby?
Today, nearly two weeks after mom passed away, my creativity found me and stories from my window, my view, came into being. I don’t know if I’ll keep these as blog entries or make a dedicated page for each one. So…
…step inside an imaginating mind:
September 27, 2026
Two cop cars pulled outside the complex I was living at. They’ve found me?
Dash, my dachshund, was in the yard bouncing, do I risk getting him and drawing attention?
Why’s this other car pulling in and watching the cruisers…were they worried, too.
Bees keep flying into my office window. I hear their connecting crack, bing.
Driver looks worried about pulling out and up the street. No one’s looking or coming my way. Another car pulled in behind them, the cruisers. Who? Why? Is this some domestic thing and not about me at all?
Two years on and I’m still not settled. Maybe setting up here was a mistake. Country side might have been the wiser decision. But strangers in a small area stick out more.
Getting Dash wasn’t exactly a wise choice either. A mutt or none at all would have been safer.
Three! Three cop cruisers? Where did that other one come from.

Do you need bail money? I don’t have any but thought I’d ask.
Thanks, I think I’m good. No one has come knocking…yet 😉
