From Deb Hockenberry – Books. Please read her full comment.
From Margaret Fieland – Music. How did I miss this one, too!
From Walt – cardboard boxes.
Thank you, Deb, Margaret, Walt and everyone who’s dropped by
Chris,
How about adding books to the list? I'd read one when I was a kid & my mind would wander on the subject making up a whole different story!
Deb 🙂
I hang my head in shame.
How did I forget this? I still have my Nancy Drew and Hardy Boy Books and recollected The Famous Five.
I'm adding this right now to main page…Thank You.
🙂
Music — when I was a kid I listened over and over to two records we had, Peter and the Wolf, and Benjamen Britten's A Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra.
Sheesh, I forgot Music, too. Thanks Margaret!
I have music for each mood and creative switch. Grew up with show tunes and musicals all the time.
Thanks, again
Chris
A kid-sized empty cardboard box. Washer and dryer boxes were ideal.
Ah Walt, so very true. They became our castles, ships, caves. How many kids do we know that still love the boxes and bags..sometimes more than the toy inside.
