The family and I love taking photos. Hubby is a framed composite taker, he likes to balance and focus the shot for future cropping.
Me? I’m a gut reaction feely taker. I snap away while thinking what creature might live within the tree roots or flower petals. Or what is that snapping turtle thinking or how strange a Flamingo’s eye looks.
I’ve attached two photos I have taken. What do you see?

Top photo: I see the slithering constrictor, the deadly Spotted Boa, not to be confused with its sister, Feather. Spotted prefers to wrap around trees, and the waists of its victims. Feather, OTOH, enjoys a ride around on the neck.
Lower photo: A cluster of Amerjin native hoes made from trees. Here they are bundled together until the next use. This allows them to stand upright and last longer.
The first one looks like a snake's skin. Not the snake itself, because the skin isn't smooth. I haven't a clue what the second one is
!
Hi,
They are actually the same plant at our Royal Botanical Gardens.
Of course, I can't remember where I wrote the name of it.
It is just so strange and I thought of old B monster movies.
I find the close up, second one, not as freaky looking, but very alien.
The first one is some type of snake (or pine cones to look like a snake). Eeewwkkk!
The second looks like bird nests nestled amongst the bamboo.
Bob of the Bobs seems to know his stuff!
What do I see–or what is it? I see in the first a tunnelled road. I imagine an elf super-highway. The second picture reminds me of an African village–huts lined and stacked to create a fortress, protecting its inhabitants.
Maybe that isn't what you were looking for, but pictures do that to me 🙂
an elf super-highway….neat.
Nope, whole idea is just what do you see. That's how I take pics, too. Just look and wonder away…sometimes frightening myself, too
I actually have these and other photos on my wall just in front of the computer
Chris
Fun pictures Chris! The first one it looks like you're walking along a path in a nature walk that's suspended over the under brush in a wooded area. Is that a nymph I see hiding behind that pick flower over there?
The second one looks like the palm trees in my marina. It's been trimmed as it grew. I hope this one doesn't have rats living in it!
Joy
Maybe not rats, Joy, but who knows lives within 😉
Thanks
Chris
