Writer: writing prompt 2 – goodbye, I’m dinner

You’re awake in the middle of the night. It’s around 2:30 a.m.

A vampire arrives and you’re dinner…whether you’re outside or somehow vampy got inside who knows, ignore the logic of vampire lore.

You know you cannot escape. You’re dinner pure and simple. You ask for one thing before vampy feeds…to say a last goodbye to your sleeping child(ren). It’s allowed.

Go with the emotions of that final goodbye.

And it is goodbye, we’re not talking about finding ways out of this. No overpowering the vamp. No becoming an undead.

Why a vampire? I like dark fiction, go with it.
