I’ll have to admit this will be a short talk. I don’t mix with audiobooks.
I’ve tried a few while on my exercise machines and they worked okay. I did lose track of the story, though, between exercise times. And taking time to get into the exercise flow can take my attention away as well.
Whenever I’ve tried them just when I’m relaxing on the couch or in bed, I fall asleep. Honestly, I haven’t made it through one listen yet. And, again, this means I have to start over and relisten to areas I’ve already heard…repeatedly heard.
I have one audiobook on disc – yup, that long ago – which I have yet to make it through the first disc.
You can see why I wouldn’t even attempt driving and listening.
Audiobooks? Sorry, the one format I don’t do.
