ME:

Surprised at how much I actually enjoyed it and if I didn’t have to rent it, I would be watching it again to fill in background sights and sounds.

Could I figure out survivors and catch the jump moments, of course. I still jumped a couple of times. I looked away a couple of times. I had a couple of unexpected moments. Basic storyline? Sure.

However, it delivered exactly what I was wanting at the time I rented it. I wanted pure escape “monster” hunting shark against innocent (slightly idiot behaving) humans. I got all that and had a good time in the process.

The actors were decent. I didn’t recognize any, but did search them on IMDB. Not that my opinion carries any weight, but I’d watch their work again.

Keep an eye on the character Tyler played by Malachi Pullar-Latchman and let me know if you cheered for him.

Greg is played by Bridgerton actor Thomas Flynn…he’s Rupert Norton in that series.

I feel a little bad putting this under a campy movie, it was and wasn’t. Then again, most “monster” hunting ____ movies are campy for me and that’s why I love them.

Grab the popcorn and have some escape fun, it’s not as campy-bad as you might think.
