You're thinking about the plot for a romance novel of how a near-sighted turtle fell in love with an army helmet, entitled: "The Old Shell Game?"

I've seen a lot of history in this ole body. No matter how much you laugh at me, I'm still gonna live longer than you. Remember, beauty from within.

This picture was taken at our Royal Botanical Gardens here in Ontario. The silly turtle decided the flower beds made a perfect nest.
When I took the photo I cropped it because I just liked the age wised face…now I think she's smiling

LOL. What's truly funny about this slow gal (guy?) is the distance from the water and hill s/he traveled to build the nest smack in the middle of an Iris garden…wonder how long it took?
