Youth/Ya: Heroes

I have a story with a group of heroes, sounds pretty simple, right? They’re not in the super power league, but are more than a group solving mysteries or anything. Maybe they’re both, with a little spy-action thrown in.

They need to save the world in twenty-four hours.

Then there’s the story mom won’t read – Super Snake aka Sir Samson Smithstone.

There’s another one, but my notes are very vague – spirit saving? Oh, wait, that’s more adult fiction with a possible link to another YA story, which isn’t exactly spirits, but, yeah, let me work on that explanation.

Back to 24 Hours, I wasn’t planning on revisiting it; however, it has been sneaking into my thoughts and getting a bit forceful. Its concept is very rough draft, the characters are only known by code names…sounds like a cartoon show, doesn’t it. Yup, watched a few too many of those growing up.

Hmm, guess that means they do have some type of super powers and I’m remembering animal sidekicks, which could have been only for one of them.

Of course, one could call teen/ya mystery solving characters heroes. Nah, they’re a different breed of characters.

I’ll have to pull those notes out and sit with them for a bit. The brain’s being tickled with their possibilities.
